This Saturday is the annual fashion show at NBCCD, the school I work at! :D This is the 14th, titled “Designed to the Nines”. We’ve moved our venue this year, we needed more room, we have 800 tickets to sell this year and so far presales are going fantastic!

The show consists of:

I’ve participated in the alumni segment since it started 3 years ago, usually showing a line. It’s too hard for me to organize that when I work backstage though (I organize the designers and models and line the show before it gets to stage) so I’ve moved to the one of a kind segment this year.

I wish people were as honorable, adamant, and energetic about buying seamstress’ creations as they are about not buying recasts. They won’t buy recasts because they want to “support the artist”… yet these are the same exact people who say an outfit that took 25 hours to make is too expensive, or constantly send messages trying to haggle the price down.
